This Refund Policy applies to all transactions on Textlino. Please read it carefully before making any purchase.
1. Current Service Status
Textlino is currently available as a free service with a limited number of complimentary generation credits per account. There are no paid plans, subscriptions, or in-app purchases available at this time.
Since no monetary transactions are processed, there are currently no refunds to issue.
2. Future Paid Plans
When we introduce paid plans or credit packages in the future, the following refund terms will apply. This section is published in advance for transparency.
2.1 Digital Goods — No General Refund Right
Credits and paid plan access are digital goods that are consumed immediately upon use. Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m), the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium if the performance has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgment that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.
By purchasing credits or a plan, you consent to immediate access and acknowledge this.
2.2 When We Will Issue a Refund
Despite the above, we will consider refunds in the following cases:
- Payment error: You were charged incorrectly (duplicate charge, wrong amount).
- Service failure: A system-wide outage prevented you from using credits you paid for, and we were unable to resolve the issue within 72 hours.
- Unauthorized transaction: Your payment method was used without your authorization.
2.3 When We Will NOT Issue a Refund
- You changed your mind after purchasing credits.
- You are unsatisfied with the quality of AI-generated text (the output is provided "as is" — see our Terms of Service).
- You did not use purchased credits before they expired (if an expiration policy applies).
- Your account was suspended or terminated due to violations of our Acceptable Use Policy.
- Partial refunds for unused portions of a billing cycle.
2.4 Subscription Cancellation
If subscription plans are offered, you may cancel at any time. Your access will remain active until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds will be issued for the remaining days of a billing cycle.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for an eligible case:
- Email info@textlino.com within 14 days of the transaction.
- Include your account email, the date and amount of the transaction, and a description of the issue.
- We will review your request and respond within 10 business days.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
4. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Filing a chargeback without first attempting resolution may result in account suspension pending investigation.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy when paid features are introduced. Material changes will be communicated on our website and, where applicable, via email to paying customers.
