Best link in bio for musicians: October 2026 edition
Instagram and TikTok give you one link. This page compares the tools musicians use for it, on what matters for a release: whether the free plan is enough, whether it plays your music, takes pre-saves and lists shows, whether you keep your fans' emails, and what it costs to put it on your own domain. Every fact comes from the tool's own pricing or feature page.

How we picked: We read each tool's own pricing and feature pages and ranked them on how well the free or cheapest plan covers a release: music-specific blocks (players, pre-saves, tour dates) first, then fan emails you can actually use, then a custom domain and branding. Smart-link-only tools such as Hypeddit and Linkfire are left out: they make release links, not a link in bio page. Where a page doesn't say which plan includes a feature, the table says 'Check site'. Textlino doesn't make a link in bio tool and has no deal with these companies. Facts checked 9 October 2026.

Best for: Releases: pre-saves, smart links and a bio link in one place
Our verdict: The most music-specific of the four; the free plan is enough to start, but you have to pay to see the fan emails you collect.
Built for music marketing. Every plan includes an artist bio link, unlimited smart links and landing pages, and pre-save links. The free plan supports one pre-save service and keeps 7 days of analytics; paid plans add all pre-save stores, tour and event links, a custom domain and retargeting pixels.
- +Artist bio link and pre-saves on the free plan
- +Smart links that route fans to their streaming service
- +Pre-saves can start before you have a UPC or ISRC
- −Fan emails are collected but only visible on paid plans
- −Free plan: 7 days of analytics and 'Powered by Feature.fm' branding
- −Custom domain only on the two higher plans
- •Tour and event links start on the Basic Artist plan
- •Every paid plan starts with a 7-day trial of the top plan

Linktree
Best for: A familiar link in bio with music and tour apps
Our verdict: The safe, well-known choice; music features come as apps, and the useful extras sit on paid plans.
The free plan gives unlimited basic links and email and phone sign-ups. A Music app adds Spotify, SoundCloud and Audiomack players and finds your release on other platforms; a Bandsintown app lists your shows. Analytics start on Starter, and removing Linktree branding needs Pro.
- +Email and phone sign-ups on the free plan
- +Music app finds your release across platforms
- +Bandsintown app for tour dates
- −Analytics start on the paid Starter plan
- −Linktree branding unless you pay for Pro
- −Pricing page doesn't say which plan the music apps need
- •Pro and Premium start with a 7-day free trial
- •Pro advertises 0% fees on sales

Beacons
Best for: The most features on a free plan, including analytics
Our verdict: Generous for free, built for creators who also sell things; the 9% fee on free-plan sales is the catch.
A creator platform with a link in bio at its centre. The free plan, free forever, includes real-time analytics, an email list and 50 email sends a month. Pages can embed music from Spotify, SoundCloud and Apple Music and list shows through Bandsintown and Seated. A custom domain starts on the Creator plan, and sales on the free plan carry a 9% fee.
- +Real-time analytics on the free plan
- +Music and tour embeds
- +Email list and newsletter tools
- −9% fee on sales on the Free and Creator plans
- −Custom domain needs the paid Creator plan
- −Much of the product is about brand deals and AI tools, not music
- •Free plan: 50 email sends a month
- •0% sales fee starts on Creator Plus

Carrd
Best for: A simple one-page site on your own domain
Our verdict: Not made for musicians, but the cheapest way to own your link page on your own domain.
A one-page website builder rather than a link in bio tool. You can publish up to three sites for free with 'Made with Carrd' branding; Pro plans, paid yearly, add custom domains, sign-up forms connected to email services, and embeds for players and widgets.
- +Custom domain on the cheapest paid plan
- +Full control over the layout
- +Sign-up forms work with Mailchimp, Kit and others
- −No music-specific blocks: no pre-saves or tour dates
- −Embeds and forms need Pro
- −You build the page yourself
- •Free sites show 'Made with Carrd'
- •Pro is billed per year, not per month

What a musician's link in bio needs
- •Your newest release first: a pre-save before release day, a streaming link after it
- •Links to every streaming service, not just Spotify
- •Upcoming shows with ticket links, if you play live
- •A way to collect fan emails you can actually export
- •Your name, one line about your music and a photo, so it looks like you
Keep it current
A link in bio works when it shows what's happening now. Swap the pre-save for the streaming link on release day, move old releases down and remove shows that have passed. A page that still promotes last year's single tells new listeners nobody is home.
Write the one-line bio once and reuse it: the same line works on Instagram, TikTok and the top of your link page. If you need it shorter or longer, the bio length checker shows what fits each platform.
Free plan or paid?
Start free. Pay when you need something specific: fan emails you can export (Feature.fm), analytics (Linktree), your own domain (Carrd, Beacons, Feature.fm) or no branding. Most artists outgrow the free plan around their first proper release campaign, not before.
