Best distributors for AI music: October 2026 edition
Made a song with Suno or another AI tool and want it on Spotify? This page answers where you can actually release it. Eight distributors, ranked by how clearly they accept AI-made music and how many stores your track still reaches, with each rule taken from the distributor's own help centre on 4 October 2026; where a distributor doesn't say, the table marks it 'Check site'.
October 2026 edition Updated 4 October 2026
Quick answer
Accepts AI music with disclosure at upload and passes AI credits to Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube.
The only distributor here that names Suno in its policy (paid Suno plan required), with a free tier that keeps 85% of royalties.
Both accept AI music; fully AI-generated tracks lose some social and Content ID options.
Udio disabled downloads after its October 2025 Universal settlement, so there's no file to send to any distributor.
RouteNote, Amuse, LANDR and Ditto exclude AI tracks from Content ID; the others don't say. Plan without it.
CD Baby and TuneCore are fine for human-made releases; they're strict only about AI.

How we picked: We read each distributor's own AI policy and ranked them on four things, in this order of weight: whether they accept AI-generated music at all, how clear and specific their rules are, which stores and services they leave out for AI tracks, and the limits they put on AI uploads. Price, popularity and affiliate programmes are not ranking factors; we describe how you pay but don't rank on it. Where a distributor's own pages don't answer a question, the table says so instead of guessing. Textlino isn't a distributor and isn't on this list. Facts checked 4 October 2026.

Best for: Releasing AI-made tracks under clear, written rules
Our verdict: The safest default for most AI music creators: explicit acceptance, explicit rules, AI credits shown to listeners.
Accepts music made with AI tools if you own 100% of the rights, don't imitate anyone's voice or identity and don't mass-upload. At upload you say whether AI made the lyrics, the music, all of the audio or part of it, and Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube show that to listeners.
- +AI acceptance written down in its help centre
- +AI credits passed to Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube
- +Unlimited uploads on one yearly fee
- −Doesn't name Suno or Udio specifically
- −Store exclusions for AI tracks not published
- •You need commercial rights from your AI tool's plan
- •Mass-generated spam and voice imitation are banned
How you pay: Yearly subscription, unlimited uploads, keep 100% of earnings · Official policy, checked 4 October 2026 ↗

Best for: Suno tracks without paying upfront
Our verdict: The only policy here that speaks to Suno users directly, and the only free option on the list.

- +Names Suno and the paid-plan requirement
- +Free tier with no upfront cost
- +Clear list of what AI tracks can't reach
- −AI tracks don't go to Amazon or Korean stores
- −No YouTube Content ID or Meta fingerprinting for AI tracks
- •Be ready to show which AI tools you used
- •Prefers AI tools with ethical training

Best for: AI-assisted tracks with human vocals or instruments
Our verdict: Good for AI-assisted music; fully AI tracks lose Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
Allows music created or assisted by AI under its normal release guidelines, but fully AI-generated vocals or instrumentals can't go to Facebook, Instagram or TikTok. Unlimited uploads, though high volumes of AI content can be flagged as spam.
- +Explicitly allows AI-created and AI-assisted music
- +Unlimited releases on SELECT
- −Fully AI tracks excluded from Meta and TikTok
- −High AI volume can be flagged as spam
- •No AI voices of famous people
- •Streaming services may label AI tracks automatically

Amuse
Best for: Occasional AI releases with original vocals
Our verdict: Fine for a few AI releases a month; the weekly cap and missing Content ID rule it out for heavy use.
Allows AI-generated music, but rejects AI covers and tracks that imitate well-known artists. AI releases are excluded from Meta, Qobuz and YouTube Content ID, and you can upload at most 10 AI releases in any 7 days.
- +Allows AI music with original vocals
- +Free option available
- −At most 10 AI releases per rolling 7 days
- −No Content ID, Meta or Qobuz for AI releases
- •AI covers are rejected
- •Content ID can't be added to AI releases later

LANDR
Best for: AI-assisted releases if you also want mastering
Our verdict: Clear disclosure rules, but the longest list of stores AI tracks can't reach.
Accepts music made with the help of AI tools if you disclose AI elements at upload; it also runs AI detection. It caps how many AI tracks you can submit each month, depending on your plan, and doesn't distribute AI covers.
- +AI disclosure built into the upload
- +Mastering and distribution in one account
- −Monthly cap on AI tracks, depending on plan
- −AI tracks miss Content ID, Meta, TikTok, Deezer, Pandora and others
- •Runs AI detection on uploads
- •No AI covers
How you pay: Yearly subscription, unlimited releases, keep 100% of royalties · Official policy, checked 4 October 2026 ↗

Best for: AI-assisted music where Apple Music isn't essential
Our verdict: Accepts AI music, but fully AI releases miss Apple Music, which matters for most artists.
Lets you release music made with AI tools if you hold the rights, don't impersonate anyone and don't bulk-upload. Some platforms don't take fully AI-generated releases, among them Apple Music, iTunes, Shazam, Beatport, Pandora and YouTube Content ID.
- +Written AI rules
- +Unlimited releases on a yearly plan
- −Fully AI releases miss Apple Music and iTunes
- −No Content ID for fully AI releases
- •Fully AI songs can't be registered with Ditto's publishing
- •Separate opt-in programme for licensing your music to AI training

TuneCore
Best for: Music made only with licensed AI models
Our verdict: Not the place for most Suno or Udio tracks today; built for licensed-model AI.
Only distributes GenAI music made with models trained on fully licensed data. If any tool in your process used unlicensed data, the track isn't eligible. It points artists to Google's Flow Music as a compliant option.
- +Clear, strict standard
- +Fine for human-made music
- −Licensed-model AI only
- −Applies if AI was used at any step
- •Check your AI tool's training-data statement before uploading
How you pay: Yearly subscription, unlimited distribution · Official policy, checked 4 October 2026 ↗

CD Baby
Best for: Human-made music only
Our verdict: Doesn't accept AI-generated content in any form; listed so you don't waste a release fee.
Doesn't accept AI-generated content, even when it's commercially licensed or only part of the recording is AI. AI releases it finds are removed, and accounts that keep sending them may be closed.
- +Clear answer
- +No subscription to keep music live
- −No AI-generated content at all
- −Applies even to partly AI recordings
- •Repeated AI uploads can end your account
How you pay: One-time fee per release, plus a royalty commission · Official policy, checked 4 October 2026 ↗

Can I distribute Suno music?
Usually yes, if you made the song on a paid Suno plan and took a permitted download: Suno's terms only allow commercial use on paid plans. Then pick a distributor that accepts AI music and tick its AI disclosure. RouteNote is the only one here that names Suno in its policy; DistroKid, UnitedMasters, Amuse, LANDR and Ditto accept AI music without naming tools. CD Baby won't take it, and TuneCore only accepts licensed-model AI.
Can I distribute Udio music?
Not at the moment. Udio disabled downloads after its October 2025 settlement with Universal Music, and its licensed platform keeps songs on Udio. Without a file there's nothing to give a distributor, whatever its AI policy says.
Four different permissions, often confused
Having one doesn't give you the others. A paid Suno plan doesn't make CD Baby accept the song, and a distributor accepting it doesn't settle copyright.
- •Your AI tool's licence: whether its terms let you use the song commercially (usually only on paid plans)
- •Copyright: whether the law protects the song; in the US, prompts alone don't make you the author, while your own lyrics and edits can be protected
- •The distributor's policy: whether it will deliver AI music, and to which stores
- •The store's rules: Spotify, YouTube and others have their own rules on impersonation, spam and AI labels
What gets an AI song rejected or removed
- •No commercial rights, for example a song made on a free plan
- •Imitating a real artist's voice, name or identity without permission
- •Mass uploads, near-duplicates or very short filler tracks
- •AI covers of existing songs (Amuse and LANDR reject them)
- •Not disclosing AI when the distributor asks
- •Sending AI music to a distributor that doesn't accept it, such as CD Baby
Before you choose
- •Check your AI tool's plan, and for Suno take the permitted download
- •Decide whether you need Apple Music, TikTok or Content ID; several distributors leave AI tracks out of them
- •Release one track at a time instead of batches
